This workshop explores symbolic concepts through a hands-on mask-making process recycling cardboard and building a mask with paper-mache.

Participants develop and construct their own masks across two sessions: first, research, drawing, and structural assembly; then, painting and decorative work informed by visual references and color exploration. The process encourages personal interpretation and collective exchange, resulting in unique masks that can be worn or displayed.

The following images show the workshop process developed under the theme “Spirit Animal Masks”; additional workshops exploring other thematic frameworks are currently in development.

At the end of the semester or year, we organize student exhibitions to motivate them to continue creating. We celebrate diversity and gathering at events to share our art with everyone.
